4. Google user data: what we access and why
If you connect Google services, you authorise SSW to access Google data strictly to provide SSW features you can see and use within the product, including reporting dashboards and emailed reports. This includes:
GA4 metrics (for example users, sessions, engagement, traffic trends) for properties you select
Search Console query data (for example search queries, clicks, impressions, CTR, position) for properties you select
We do not use Google user data for advertising. We do not sell Google user data.
Google API Services User Data Policy and Limited Use
SSW’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
In practice, that means:
We only use Google data to provide or improve the SSW features you have enabled and that are visible within SSW.
We do not transfer Google data to third parties except as needed to operate the service (for example, hosting infrastructure or email delivery), and only to the extent required to deliver SSW features.
You can disconnect Google at any time in SSW, which stops further collection using that connection.
Google may review our app and this policy as part of verification.
5. Data retention
We retain monitoring and reporting data for as long as needed to provide the service, and in line with your plan’s retention settings (where applicable). When retention limits apply, older records are automatically purged.
We may retain limited records longer where required for security, fraud prevention, accounting, or legal compliance.
6. Your choices and control
You can:
Update account details in your profile
Disconnect Google services within SSW
Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information (subject to legal and operational requirements)
You can also revoke SSW’s access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account security settings.
7. How we protect your information
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. Controls may include access restrictions, encryption in transit (TLS), secure credential storage, and logging/monitoring.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to maintain appropriate safeguards for a SaaS service.
8. Cookies and analytics
We may use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality (for example login sessions) and to understand basic usage patterns. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some site features may not work without them.

We use third-party services to operate SSW. Depending on your use, these may include:
Google APIs (Analytics and Search Console), when you connect Google
Stripe for payment processing
Email delivery providers for sending account and report emails
Infrastructure providers (hosting, storage, logging) to run the service
These providers may process data on our behalf. Where practical, we minimise what is shared and limit it to what is required to deliver SSW.
10. International transfers
Some service providers may store or process data outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure handling is consistent with this Privacy Policy.
11. Children
SSW is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify customers of material changes.
